“New” album by the British rock"n"roll legend as an LP on REBEL MUSIC RECORDS and as a limited picture disc on the LOUISIANA RECORDS sub-label!
As early as 1964, the Welsh musicians CAVAN GROGAN, LYNDON NEEDS, TERRY WALLEY and GERALD BISHOP founded the band SCREAMIN "COUNT DRACULA & THE VAMPIRES, which later changed its name to THE SUNDOGS and finally in 1970 in a slightly different line-up as CRAZY CAVAN N" THE RHYTHM ROCKERS stepped into the ring. As soon as the classic rock"n"roll had to give way to the hip beat-pop in the early 60s, the defiant counter-movement emerged from the underground, the roots of the "revival rock"n"roll", the quickly became known as "Teddy Boy Rock"n"Roll" because of lyrical references to the British youth gangs. CRAZY CAVAN N "THE RHYTHM ROCKERS are possibly the first, but certainly one of the most important bands of this" rollback" and with regular live shows until Cavan Grogan’s death in February 2020.
“Who"s Gonna Rock You When I"m Gone?” Is now out a little over a year after his death and contains twelve demos previously unreleased on vinyl, eleven of which were on a 4-track device in the bedroom of guitarist Lyndon in 1983 Needs have been included. Although they are "just" demos, they are in no way inferior to the regular tracks that were recorded for the 1984 album "Rollin Through The Night".
At the end of the compilation there is the track “Who"s Gonna Rock Ya?”, Which was previously released on “It"s Wild, It"s Weird, It"s Crazy”, here again in an alternative version.
